The keynote presentation, Transforming American Democracy, commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Fourteenth Amendment. Through its Citizenship, Due Process and Equal Protection clauses, this transformative amendment advanced the rights of all Americans. It serves as the cornerstone of landmark civil rights legislation and is the foundation for numerous federal court decisions protecting fundamental rights. The Honorable Henry Cisneros & Rosie Castro recount the history of the civil rights movement in San Antonio from a landmark Supreme Court decision to more modern day applications.
Individual Tickets are open! Individual Luncheon Tickets & Registration HERE.
